1- We perform a business address check and reverse phone number lookup to confirm the identity, location and accessibility of all our contractors
2- We confirm, and require a copy of, the contractor's valid, up to date insurance certificates.
3- We require a copy if all contractors' licenses and perform a contractor license validity & expiration check with the local issuing municipalities.
4- We research all complaints and violations registered against contractors through local Consumer Affairs Bureaus and the Better Business Bureau.
5- We research the financial history (business and personal) of the principal/owner of the business, including bankruptcies, liens and civil judgments
6- We check contractors' names against the appropriate State Sex Offender Registries.
7- Most importantly, we listen to our customers' appraisals of our contractors. Your feedback (negative and positive) is the best, most effective way we have of reviewing contractor performance.
8- We then match contractors to your job by their expertise in the appropriate trades and by location.
9- We further screen the selected contractors by their experience, past performance and quality ratings.
